MOAMALAT Overview

Based on previous extensive experience and customer requirements, DataServe has used the latest technologies to design its comprehensive e-correspondence management System Moamalat. Moamalat® handles all correspondence regardless of type or nature whether they are in the Admin correspondence centers or between employees. It does the following:

  • Register outgoing and incoming correspondence as well as the internal transmittals.
  • Scan and electronically archive correspondence.
  • Print and read barcode label on correspondence.
  • Apply different security levels on correspondence data and attachments.
  • Transmit electronic version of correspondence between different entities and users according to authorization level provided for each and the predetermined workflow map.
  • Link outgoing and incoming correspondence with each other in many-many relation
  • Close correspondence & print delivery and performance reports.
  • Manage all versions of outgoing correspondence.

COMPREHENSIVENESS FUNCTIONALITY

  • Basic: such as registration process, internal transmittal, follow-up and private in-box.
  • Special: such as notification, deadlines (business rules), electronic archiving (scanning of letters and attachments), add different versions of the correspondence, and customization of system look & feel.
  • Advanced: such as routing according the workflow map, modification & versioning of workflow map, graphical follow-up (tracking), and standard based ECM infrastructure.

Advanced FEATURES

  • All components have a web-based interface, including scanning, barcode reading and printing, so no software will be installed at the workstation except the web browser.
  • Installed “as is” which satisfy 85% or more for standard requirements and the rest is customer specific as business rules do change from one organization to another.

  • Moamalat® supports Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) which means unlimited integration capabilities, especially with “YESSER” e-Government Portal.
  • Offers a variety of search features to assist end users to follow-up and generate reports. It also supports content search for electronic document.
  • Moamalat® offers a range of standard reports that the end users can easily generate. It cover supervisor requirements (various statistical reports), and top management (employees’ performance reports, department, section, or employee reports or chronological reports).
  • Moamalat® supports all standard security systems. It utilize customer security infrastructure so no burden on security management (compatible with standard LDAP ex. Microsoft Active Directory, IBM Tivoli Access Manager, Novell Directory Services, and Sun One)
  • Moamalat has the merit of being based on Business Process Management, PBM. This mean that routing is done based on Workflow Maps. While the system provides standard workflow maps it can easily be modified and changed to fit customer requirements.
  • Moamalat® supports Single Sign On (SSO) such as IBM Tivoli Access Manager, CA Site Minder, each of which is an internationally recognized software.
  • Moamalat® offers advanced scanning options such as document processing, page manipulation (add, insert, move, delete). Arabic/Latin (OCR) and barcode reading.
